BBC Winterwatch - Birds in the Snow:

Winterwatch 2023 - Series 11: Episode 4 - Broadcast on BBC Two on Friday 20th January 2023.

Philip worked as a long lens wildlife camera operator tasked with filming a mindful moment piece about blue tits in the snow during a very cold coldsnap in The Cotswolds.

A clip from this piece was used in the opening titles to each episode of Winterwatch 2023 and the piece was featured on the BBC Homepage.

Philip worked as a long lens wildlife camera operator operating from a hide, filming a piece about a red kite feeding on a young muntjac deer who had succumbed to the extreme cold winter weather. With wildlife presenter Hannah Stitfall explaining the story behind the shot.

Philip worked as a long lens wildlife camera operator tasked with filming a mindful moment piece about short-eared owls and barn owls which overwinter on limestone grasslands in the Cotswolds.


Short-eared Owl:

Every winter short-eared owls return to The Cotswolds as part of their winter migration to the safe haven of the British Isles.

Short-eared Owl follows the hardships a group of short-eared owls face as they return to their overwintering grassland home in The Cotswolds.

BBC Springwatch 2024 - Urban Nightjars

Philip was the wildlife camera assistant for a VT filming the important work of monitoring, catching and tagging urban nightjars with the Dorset Nightjar Study Group. The piece is presented and narrated by Hannah Stitfall.

Philip was the wildlife camera assistant for a VT piece about the Swifts that are found in Corfe Castle, Dorset. The piece is presented by Hannah Stitfall and Jack Baddams.
